Emma began studying The Roaring Twenties today. We discussed the following topics: how economic factors led to the election of Warren G. Harding, Laissez-Faire economics, the rise of the credit-based economy, the weakening of the unions, fashion, women's rights post-WWI, the economic, political and social aspects of the post WWI era and the early 1920's, and prohibition.
