Wilson Step 2.4/2.5 three letter blends
Lesson Outline
Todays lesson focused on blends at the beginning and end of the word, three letter blends and blends including a digraph. We also worked on identifying the syllable type and what sound the vowel is making. Once this concept is completely understood, we can move on to multisyllabic words. Symone did a good job on the word reading and sentence reading and charted 93% reading nonsense words with blends. On dictation, she needs to slow down, repeat a word and tap it before writing. This greatly improves accuracy. We finished reading the article on Exotic Animals which she enjoyed but was not able to provide as many details of what she had read as the last session.
