Today's lesson was Step 3.2 Wilson. We focused on multi syllabic words ending in ic as well as syllables with blends and digraphs. Symone read and scooped syllables for word cards, did word list reading correctly reading 15 out of 15 words and read sentences. We then worked on spelling multi syllabic wordsand did dictation. Lastly we read a story on Nelson Mandella for comprehension. She read each paragraph, highlighting what she thought was the most important concept. Afterwards she re read what she had highlighted and did a great job retelling the story to me. She enjoys the articles about people most.
