Lesson Comments
Much better on timeliness today! Susan's vocal timbre continues to improve with singing and speech, which demonstrates that she is practicing between sessions. She is showing a marked interest in formalized singing and guitar lessons about which I'd love to speak with her mother.

Though Susan was much closer to on time today, it is worth noting that she cancelled her next session and hasn't rescheduled it yet. (Also we'd discussed that Susan would ask her mom if she could have a few more Speech sessions.) I truly believe that Susan is right up against the use of genuine expression and application of emotional material in her speech sessions and that this, naturally, may manifest in an unconscious reticence about getting to the lessons, though once there, she participates whole-heartedly. I am not alarmed about this; just making a note.
