Lesson Outline
We started out by putting tutor-generated data (2 variables) on the board. We made a rough graph of the data by hand and observed the trend. Then we graphed the data on the graphing calculator and compared the graphs. We used linear and quadratic regression to make predictions, discussed interpolation and extrapolation. Then we transitioned to the distance and midpoint formulas.
