Aubrey created a page in her notebook for the animal class Mammalia, listing the main characteristics, including strategies for keeping warm, reproduction, body covering, and respiration. We watched the BBC production LIFE, episode 3: Mammals, which showed the strategies used to survived, adapted and adopted by mammals such as weddell seals, fruit bats, polar bears, rufus sengi, aye-aye, reindeer, hyenas, coatis, meerkats, elephants and humpback whales.
