The girls had a great day. We began our morning making creations with play dough to begin conversation. Our theme was fruit smoothies. I immersed them in vocabulary and language to reflect the theme. They were so into it and added significantly with their creativity of what they were creating as well as play and pretend in their conversation. Following this warm up, they created a journal entry to illustrate what they created and I recorded what they said as they explained to me their drawings. Each of the girls chose a fruit lacing board and we worked on fine motor skills. They enjoyed this and each did two boards.
