Today, we continued to read from a graphic novel and discussed plot development and elements as they related to the story. I asked Jeron to predict what might happen next to help him think about a plot. I also went over different types of conflict in a story and then I asked him to consider conflict as a driver of plot and climax as it applies to his creative writing story. Lastly, we continued working on the two character story we started a few weeks ago.
