Lesson Outline
Review of letters (N,L,S,I) – full retention of these letters not yet achieved, decided to only add two letters today.
Introduced new letters (W, O) – Nicholas picked which ones he wanted to learn during the session. We played games, made word associations, and teacher/student created cards to practice at home. Magnetic letters were sorted into categories by letters we are learning, and we practiced singing and touching the alphabet with a celebration at the end each time.

Nicholas was much calmer (and had less complaints) during this session, having gotten to know me and the structure of what we do together! Did not seem to give up until the very end of session, due to brain fatigue!
