Today we went over the correct usage of a comma. Jeron practiced placing the comma between two independent clauses joined by a conjunction, and then he identified their need while using descriptive and introductory clauses. Next, we started reading a novel called Tank and Fizz. I asked Jeron to point out such dependent clauses when he noticed them in the sentences we read. We also stopped to discuss paragraph and dialogue structure in the novel.
