Sort and Edit Photos -
Will continued to edit his remarkable photos of Paris. I reminded him of the things we look for in exceptional photos, the subject, the composition, the framing, the perspective, the light, the focus and the artistic value. Will has over 700 images, and is eager to bring that down to a workable number. He took several of each, so he was tasked with examining each in a series and choosing the best of the group. We also removed the photos from last year and resigned them to a flash drive, thus making more room on his computer for this year. Finally Will showed me the start of his script for a movie he hopes we can make in class this year. He has found the theme and already written some terrific humor scenes. Homework: sort and edit a few images every day before class next week.
