Actors and clay -
Will prepared the clay to construct Tony’s shirt. First he kneaded the clay and rolled it out into ‘sheets’ from which he could cut the arms and body of the shirt. He decided what kind of collar the shirt should have, and we worked to make it just right. We determined to make him look more masculine, he needed to have some girth around his waist, so we added clay under the shirt. Then we cut the shirt to simulate it being tucked into the pants. Will then created a belt and we also added belt loops to the pants. We then covered the manikins in Saran-wrap to keep them from drying out.
