Today Kelcy finished his leaf symmetry portraits and we spent time identifying lines of symmetry on different types of 2D shapes.
While working on symmetry, we began the process of creating a "fortune-teller" foldable about things Kelcy is thankful for. LOTS of writing and fine motor skills went into creating this little project - we will finish it tomorrow!

Good session. One caveat - Kelcy has a tough time some days accepting that he still has two hours left of school after recess. Today he was a bit disrespectful with his attitude and words. I was able to win him over and have a great session - but I talked to him about starting in a positive way when I arrive tomorrow!!!
