We learned that matter is made of atoms which are very small. Next we learned that the Atomic Theory is a scientific explanation of the structure of atoms and how they interact with other atoms. We learned that atoms have a dense nucleus made of protons which have a positive charge and neutrons which have no charge. Outside the nucleus there are negatively charged electrons speeding around in an area named the electron cloud.
