Dillon brought back the assignment that he had worked on at home which was to identify the heading, main idea and key details in an informational text about lizards. He did an excellent job on this assignment and continued this exercise with 2 more reptiles in the text. Next, he practiced his oral fluency with a passage about playing shuffleboard with Grandpa. He answered some comprehension questions after practicing and brought this passage home for further practice. He ended this session by reading a short story, "The Terror on Green Street". He practiced answering questions and finding text evidence to support his responses. Dillon did a great job today.
