Dillon worked hard at today's session. He practiced oral fluency with a passage about Beaver Ponds. Dillon continues to have some difficulties tracking print, particularly the return sweep while reading. He will sometimes skip an entire line of print which can interfere with his comprehension. I am stressing to him that he needs to consistently use his finger,ruler, or some other straightedge to ensure that he doesn't skip lines while reading. Dillon then completed the article he started last week about the planet Pluto. He did a wonderful job locating text evidence to support his answers.
