Dillon began today's session with a fluency passage. He read the passage at approximately 73 wcpm. He focused on making sure that he did not skip lines of text. Next, he answered some questions citing evidence from the text. He did a good job on this task. He then completed questions from Monday's reading about the planet Pluto. He was able to find text evidence to support his responses with ease.
He then read an article about the planet Mercury and responded to comprehension questions. Dillon is doing an excellent job of answering comprehension questions in both narrative and expository texts.
