Lesson Outline
This is my first lesson with Sophia. I will spend more time going over the rules to divide words into syllables. I'll go over these 2 syllable division rules, divide between the 2 words in a compound word and divide a word between the consonants that separate the vowels in a word. I want to see how Sophia explains each division. Then, I'll proceed through each step of a typical leson, but taking time to ask some specific questions in order to evaluate Sophia's basic Wilson knowledge.

Sophia was a delight to work with. I didn't get as much done as I had plan to. However, I gained the information that I needed to better prepare tomorrow's lesson. Sophia did well with blending sounds together. She did it easily. I did notice that I'll need to slow her down when she isolates the sounds in a word on her fingers. I didn't get to the dictation part of the lesson today, but it will be a priority for Tuesday's lesson.
