Lesson Outline
The goal of this lesson will be to increase accuracy reading words in the V-C-E syllable. All sections of this lesson will provide practice in reading, spelling and marking words in the V-C-E syllable. Plus, I'll provide practice for recognizing the letters, b's and d's, by having Sophia do a maze activity.

Sophia showed more interest in what we were doing today. We talked a little before the lesson got started about her upcoming week in July that she'll spend with her cousins. She was excited to know that she only had 7 more sessions before her vacation. Since Sophia read all 15 of the real words correctly in the V-C-E syllable during the Charting session, we'll now move on to reading, spelling and marking nonsense words in the V-C-E syllable. The rest if the lesson went smoothly. Distinguishing the letters, b's & d's, is still difficult for Sophia.
