Dillon had a great session today! He started with an oral fluency passage and scored within the 3rd grade limits. It was a "how to" passage, so we reviewed the transitional words that are used for writing a how to paragraph. Dillon retold the steps accurately. Next, Dillon completed the comprehension questions for the "Grasshopper and the Ant" story. He then read a Greek myth, "The Story of Icarus". Dillon did an excellent job determining the central message of this text. He provided key details to support his answers. Dillon worked carefully and thoughtfully throughout our session!
