During today's session with Colson, since he has completed his Civics Final Exam and did well, I chose to take class time to discuss his future high school courses (World History and Algebra 1). Due to his final school day at Batt tomorrow, I needed to take time to review the results of his Financial Lit. quiz and to insure that he has a
clear understanding how to determine Return on investment.
Review of Final Exam: The questions on the final exam were reviewed by the student. The remaining time during this period was utilized to assist the student in preparing for the Financial Literacy Quiz this afternoon.

Colson performed quite well on the Civics Final Exam (89%) We utilized the remaining time during this class period to assist him in reviewing for the Financial Literacy Quiz later this afternoon.
We concluded our review for the final exam today. We studied a chart that detailed how a bill becomes a law, and I directed Aiden's attention to the page in the book that outlines actions a committee can undertake with respect to a bill: debate, amend, vote, or ignore. I further reviewed the use of the pocket veto. ( Our lesson was abbreviated today due to parent -teacher conference. )
