Strategies
Lesson Outline
Jason opted not to practice shooting a few hoops on the basketball court and stated, with candor that he does not enjoy basketball. We went indoors to continue academic instruction. Jason and I discussed strategies for board games. Jason was very expressive and articulate. He demonstrated exceptional higher-order thinking skills and clearly communicated his thoughts and reasoning strategies using excellent forethought and vocabulary. He then dictated his dream as I wrote it down. When I read it over, we edited a few repetitive words, adding adjectives to make the story more complex. We reviewed the word foreshadowing. Jason is a very bright and inquisitive boy who readily acquires information and is able to effectively apply it to and across different situations.

Lesson Comments
I was asked to sub for Matthew R. with Jason for basketball today, Tuesday, 10-29-24, from 12:36 - 1:21. We were going to go out and shoot some hoops, but Jason emphatically stated that he hates basketball, claiming "it's "torture." Judie asked him what sports he does like, and he mentioned baseball. Judie will look into changing basketball to baseball.
