This morning, Alexandra began with a 0 - 20 dinosaur strip puzzle. She rearranged numbered strips vertically to create 2 dinosaur pictures. Then, she worked on finding numbers that came before, after, and between given numbers up to 20, using a number line. Finally, Alexandra finished with a coloring and graphing activity. She colored shapes with specified colors, counted the number of each shape, and colored in the graph to show the totals.

After, Alexandra produced /sh/ in the initial position of words when provided with an initial model. She completed the activity with 60% accuracy. Next, Alexandra answered mixed “wh” questions provided structured language tasks. She completed the activity with 45% accuracy. Then, she completed a spatial concepts activity in which she was asked to identify the spatial concept provided given a picture and a field of visual supports (e.g. a picture of a cow behind a barn with the prompt, “Where is the cow?”, and visual supports for “in front” and “behind”). Alexandra completed the activity with 70% accuracy. Lastly, throughout the session, Alexandra described and asked questions about picture scenes provided utilizing increased MLU (3+ word utterances) with 85% accuracy. Alexandra followed directions exceptionally well today. Most of the academic activities involved the number 1, and Alexandra refined her fine-motor skills as she traced the number 1 and counted objects and circled the number she counted. Alexandra also completed a number maze and completed another counting and tracing activity involving dinosaurs. She remained engaged and completed all tasks in the correct sequence of steps that was specified in the directions.
