Bobby reviewed uses of commas. I introduced commas in quotations. Bobby edited a paragraph. He corrected errors in forming plurals, capitalization, apostrophes, and commas. I introduced the week's spelling words. We went over definitions, parts of speech, and used the words in sentences. We read and discussed chapter 12 in "Rot and Ruin." Bobby should review spelling words for homework. Words are written in the assignment notebook.

Bobby and I used this class period to review the homework from the previous class and to continue to develop our thoughts on our expository writing assignment in Study Skills.

This morning we continued our assembly of the robot chassis which provides the main platform for all other robot functions. We continued with the assembly of the robotic arm and determined that one essential component was broken and will need to be replaced. In summary, assembly is going well and we are looking forward to programming and road testing our bot during our next session.

Hour One:
Bobby and I will go over Passion to Success and its elements again. I will give him more of the components that will lead him to accomplishing his goals. I will introduce Bobby to Scooter Braun, music talent scout that started a new trend in music by taking social media talent and turning them into stars, i.e. Justin Bieber.
Hour Two:
Bobby will go through his website and make sure that all pages are complete and linked correctly.

This morning Bobby and I concluded our review of chapter five by completing a number of the problems on 265-266. Bobby continues to struggle with remembering when to convert fractions from improper numbers and when to convert to common denominators. We will be starting chapter six next week and learning more about measurements and geometric figures.

This morning Bobby and I reviewed the outline of positive and negative points that will be included in his expository writing assignment on social media. We reviewed the three main components of our essay and began discussing possible points to be included in our introduction.

What are the typical hand tools that a carpenter uses? How does a carpenter do rough framing? What does the standard fireplace look like? What kind of damage did Mt. St. Helen Volcano of 1980 cause for the lumber industry? All these questions and more were answered in today's videos that Bobby viewed. Excellent session...
