The results of Bobby’s evaluation were: Bobby has learned the basics of Spanish 1 - greeting, salutations, days of the week and numbers 1 thru 20. Today I continued with vocabulary and basic grammar. We reviewed articles and partitives- masculine, feminine and plural. We also reviewed days of the week, months of the year, numbers 1 thru 20 then went onto 21 thru 50. He did well.

This is my first session with Bobby. I will be going over beginning Spanish 1 material to see where he left off at his other school. We will start with greetings and salutations.

Nicole did an excellent job conjugating ar verbs. She then translated and read it to me in Spanish. Nicole also created question sentences using a question word and the conjugated form of the verbs. A portion of this assignment counted as a test grade. Nicole received a 90.

Nicole conjugated 2 verbs from each classification. She translated each conjugation. She then placed a question word in front of a conjugation and created a question sentence. She did a great job!

Nicole was introduced to conjugations of "ar" verbs. This was the first time she had ever conjugated a verb in Spanish. Nicole took notes as we followed the textbook's explanation of conjugations. I enhanced the lesson by incorporating the question words from Nicole's earlier lessons. At the end of the hour, Nicole was able to form a question sentence using a conjugated "ar" verb with a question word. She did an excellent job!

Using the workbook sheets, Nicole reviewed all vocabulary - weather, numbers, days, months, colors, question words, sentences with question words and answers.
