David and I started his review for his final exam.

We also spoke about the -go verbs and about saber/conocer.

Cam started his Chapter 5 test.

He had a bit of a rocky start, but then put together a good effort.

Kaitlin was told what she needs to do this week to review for her final exam.

We read about the go verbs and looked at their conjugation charts. We read about saber and conocer and looked at their conjugation charts.

We discussed comparatives and superlatives.

David and I created the 6 cards that he did not get to create yesterday. He then went through 30 of his prior cards as a review. He was able to name 24 out of 30 cards accurately (about 80%.

Great job David.

David was especially distracted today. This week has been one of the first times in our class that he has been in danger of missing out on a serious amount of participation points. We discussed this and what he can do in the future.

Cam and I discussed the chess pieces in Spanish. He watched a video on Chess.com made by someone with a different accent than the teacher.

He was asked questions as we went along such as how do we say capture in Spanish. Cam was able to answer the questions from the video.

Kaitlin and I were to start her studying for her final exam.

Ben and I spent the first portion of our class reviewing the verb ser and all of our vocabulary cards from the last chapter.

We are reviewing these because as we have been doing the readings for this chapter and encounter the words from last chapter, he does seem to comprehend those words in context.

Examples include words like escuela, alumno, etc. He was able to pair them with their English meaning by the time we moved onto this chapter but now does not recognize them.

We discussed the cumulative nature of studying languages and how we are now using Spanish to learn more Spanish.

We then read about pets Spain and Latin America.
