Extra Credit: Kaitlin went out of her way to inquire about extra information she should be studying and she brought in extra material (balon de oro) from experience she has had with the language outside of the classroom.
Ben was introduced to the subject pronouns in Spanish.
We stated our topic for the day. We introduced the subject pronouns in English. We then wrote the Spanish pronouns and mapped them to their English counterparts.
We will remember to distinguish between the different types of the word you in Spanish next class.
We reviewed the alphabet and added in the -ch, -ll, and -rr sounds. Ben was given time to attempt/practiced rolling his r's. We discussed the numerous amount of people and countries that speak Spanish. We discussed historical events that lead to this occurrence.
