Today he started to learn about the interrogatives in Spanish. He completed pages 50 and 51 of the book, activities 1.2 and 1.3. After that, he watched a video of Celia Cruz, the queen of salsa in honor of the celebration of Black History Month.
Today he read about Don Quijote, on pages 46 and 47 of the book. He did well with pronunciation today, and after that, he completed on page 47 the questions about the lecture.
Today he completed two assignments using the right conjugation of the verb SER. He did well today using the right conjugation, and after he read two paragraphs out loud, he did well with pronunciation.
Today he completed a conversation using the right conjugation of the verb SER in the present tense. After that, we watched the video: El Verbo SER on YouTube. He did well today with pronunciation and using properly the vocabulary learned.
Today he completed the chart of the simple present tense of the verb to be (SER). He did well conjugating the verb, and completing activities 1.1 and 1.2 of the book on page 30.
Today we worked on pages 26 and 27 of the book, and he completed activities 2.1 and 2.2. He is learning to tell time in Spanish and today he practiced saying at what time he has different subjects from school.
Fotonovela video, pronunciation- vowels, days of the week
Lesson Outline
Philip completed viewing the Fotonovela and did two comprehension check exercises on it. We then moved on to audio work to refine and practice the pronunciation of Spanish vowels. Finally, we went through the Spanish days of the week and watched a video/song to help work on memorizing them.

Student has not been coming to class on his own at start of classes. Have started marking him tardy and stopped going to find him in the art room.
Philip worked today on practice exercise (Ch 2 wkbk ex 2 crossword puzzle) to reinforce class vocabulary. After the crossword, we started viewing the Ch 2 Fotonovela video to hear the words being used in conversations.
Phillip and I worked through the Spanish classroom vocabulary and their pronunciations today. Phillip did two practice listening exercises on these new words.
