Ben and I spent the first portion of our class reviewing the verb ser and all of our vocabulary cards from the last chapter.
We are reviewing these because as we have been doing the readings for this chapter and encounter the words from last chapter, he does seem to comprehend those words in context.
Examples include words like escuela, alumno, etc. He was able to pair them with their English meaning by the time we moved onto this chapter but now does not recognize them.
We discussed the cumulative nature of studying languages and how we are now using Spanish to learn more Spanish.
Kaitlin and I worked on the verbs from her master list of 100 Spanish verbs.
We also took some time to discuss the path that she would need to take to make it to AP Spanish. Additionally, we discussed ideas such as a conversational Spanish class to be taken at the same time as a more grammar based class like Spanish 2.
