Lesson Comments
Great job! Brooke was enthused and enjoyed this assignment. We first completed her painting (detailed still life) which she started with her morning Art teacher. Then I challenged her to work abstractly, in a larger format. She was reluctant, at first, expressing lack of confidence. But as usual, once Brooke began her creative project, she worked thoroughly and was happy with the process! The same is true of her writing. She will claim not to have ideas, or that what she has written is not good, but I find her ideas and writing to be expansive, intelligent, and quite inspirational. Thank you.
