Everyone seemed to like being in charge. A few times Quinn missed his turn because he was trying to be goofy. They are all getting into the routine of folding their uniform after class. Gwen continues to lead the class.

Anna screamed today when I asked everyone to clean up after lunch. Ten minutes later, she finally cleaned up her stuff very quickly, stomped her foot and said,"I don't like doing things by myself. Mom wants me to do the laundry - I won't do it!" She was fine the rest of the afternoon. After we read Verdi, her and I had a talk about learning to do things for yourself. When it was time to go home, she ran to the refrigerator and proudly called out "Look, I got my lunchbox and Quinn's too, all by myself!"

Quinn- reading sentence strips - worksheet matching sentences to illustrations - 100%. Went to get Valentine decorations from other building and played fussball for 40 minutes. Great team work project and it also helped Quinn and Anna since they do not like to take turns or lose, Gwendolyn really came out of herself - she was in control and telling everyone the rules of the game, strategies for winning and reminding everyone to have fun because it is just a game- Interesting dynamics - of course, I made sure everyone won at least one game. Science:Categories of Living Things vs. Nonliving Things . Painted with watercolors and continued to decorate castle. Music:If You're Happy...,Head, Shoulders, Loop de Loop.
