Quinn was absent today. Calendar/ 100 chart/ months and days of week. Anna and I took down decorations around the school by playing 'I Spy a Halloween Decoration'. Reviewed blending sounds. Read Leap Frog short /o/ and /a/ books. Painted a picture of herself. Identified numbers 1-14 - she still confuses 11 , 12, and 13. So we played '11, 12, 13 Hopscotch. Took a walk and found the spider weaving a new web. Anna wanted to know how m&ms got their name so we researched it on Google. Listened to 'The Mermaid Princess' and did comprehension worksheet. Chose new books for the tent. Read the 'Owl and the Pussycat.' Wrote a story about the picture she painted of herself. Starfall.com -her choice of letters. Free time-puzzles.

It is a crablike spiny orb spider. Went on Google and read about it. Watched a video on youtube
of a spiny orb spider weaving its web. Drew webs and a spider. Completed acrylic paintings.
Played Halloween counting game and matching game. Took a walk and collected Mahogany Pods and cracked them open to find seeds inside. Printing COGA. Listened to 'Lil' Monster's Halloween and did comprehension worksheet. 'The Count of Halloween' worksheet. Cleaned up the Lego center and decorated it for the party.
