Quinn earned his gold Star today for completing block routine 1. Oliver still has to be reminded to keep his hands to himself while in karate class.
Stephen's last day -celebrated by playing hard and hardly working. Calendar. Crushed cookies with a rolling pin and chopped Reese's cups with hand chopper for sundaes. Played with every toy and game one last time with Stephen. Quick review of sight word and addition equations and coins. Sang all the songs we have learned and danced to our favorite music. Took a walk with Ms. Judie. Painting and independent creations in art center...played dragon hunt with JM on playground - gave Stephen good bye hugs and everyone went home exhausted.

Calendar. Reviewed names of nickel, dime, penny. Played coin Bingo. Addition worksheets with blocks. Turned Chia Pet around to see if plants will change direction toward sun-checked three hours later. Reviewed all sight words - introduced 'said'. Played board game 'He said, She said'. Crayon/Water color resist painting.
Today was an unusual day. Henry came to visit, Oliver was 45 minutes late and Quinn went to the doctor from 10:00 to 11:30. The lesson plans went out the window. They played with legos and built a city. We designed a flag for the city and voted for rules. We popped popcorn and counted the pops. Took the leftover popcorn outside for the birds and went for a walk. Spelled words on iPads. Reviewed the sight word 'said' and read phrases with 'said', Built a parking garage with Magnetix and did addition and subtraction problems with toy cars going in and out of the garage. Played the new version of Candy Land,
