In Raz Kids she read a level E story about animals that live in the city. She answered the comprehension questions. She wanted to re watch the plant video that we watched yesterday and because she worked so hard I said, "Yes."

Next she read me the story "The School" on Raz Kids. She did great! Next we watched a science video on things we see in the spring. After the clip I asked Arianna to tell me things she sees in the spring. She said, "birds, butterflies, flowers, and rainbows". In Math we reviewed counting 1-100 with our fun counting songs. Then we ended our time watching Go Noodle Rollercoaster and Dinosaur videos.

We completed her morning work and then she wrote about Mother's Day in her daily journal. We watched a clip on spring. Gracyn had to fill in a word web about spring things she saw in the clip. She wrote "birds, butterflies, flowers, rain, owls, sun, green grass, and ducks". Then she had to use the word web to answer questions about spring. These questions were "In spring I see..., In spring I hear..., and In spring I smell...". She had to choose two words for each question. She did great! Next we watched a movie by Magic School Bus on plants growing. We learned about what plants need to grow and how they grow. In reading she read me the level E book about Crazy Cakes. She showed her mom some of the crazy cakes she read about. She is really doing well in reading!

Gracyn took her spelling test. These were words from the -am and the -ack families and the bonus word was "pretty". She got every single word correct! I was so proud of her! In reading she read a challenging level E story on Raz Kids fluently and with beautiful expression. She is really giving me quality work today! I can tell she is back to her self! She made a surprise for mom and grandma. She took her time and made the most beautiful gifts for them. She hid the gifts until Sunday! She is very excited to share what she made!
Today Arianna read a story on Raz Kids called "A Gift for Mom". It was a sweet story about a girl wrapping a gift for her mother for Mother's Day. Arianna then made her mom a Mother's Day card. She wrote "Happy Mother's Day. I love you" in the card. Then I read her a Pinkalicious story. Today it was "The Flower Girl". Arianna loved the part about the cake. Our time was short today as Arianna was still sleeping. We had a great time together!
