Arianna and I explored the days of the week. We learned the terms "today," "yesterday," and "tomorrow." We sang the song "Days of the Week" to help her understand which order the days come in. Then we watched a movie on Brain Pop Jr on calendars. This lead her to ask why the Earth turns around the sun. So then we watched a video on gravity. She asked a lot of questions about gravity! She is such a bright little girl!

Gracyn and I got back into learning about animal classification. Today we learned about fish! Fish are cold blooded, lay eggs, live in the water, and use gills to breathe. We looked up pictures of different types of fish, including sharks! Gracyn is not scared of sharks, but Ms. April is! Gracyn passed level D in Raz Kids. She is now working on level E, which is the beginning of first grade. I am so proud of her! We started to read Junie B. Jones and some Sneaky Peeky Spying by Barbara Park together in the Dojo. Gracyn loved this series!

Gracyn and I reviewed her spelling words. She wrote the words one time. Today she wrote about what she would do if it it rained candy. She would eat them all of course! Then we played with money! We made believe that we were in a store and took turns paying for things. She really enjoyed counting out coins to give me the correct amount to purchase the items.
