1) Read and Finish Act 3 of Othello; Discuss how the play's perpeteia is developing and why Othello is so quick to believe that Desdemona is a harlot. Why doesn't Iago stop this process when he is made lieutenant?
2) Writing Assignment: Rewrite Act 3 Scene 2 so that it is a comedy, and Cassio remains to confront Othello and Iago.
