Moved very slowly, Charlotte was sluggish and had to be forced to participate. She complained that she didn't have an "A" while every other teacher has given her one. She also sent a number of text messages while I was lecturing. She didn't do any of her homework problems and was barely attentive when I went over the answers. I finally got her to understand mole-to-mole conversions by the end, stayed on that topic till she got it as well as I could. Will pick up where we left off tomorrow morning.

I returned Charlotte's test which she scored a 91 (A-) on. I was pleased with that. We barely got through the material today, partly because she was texting and talking to her friends on the phone during class. Charlotte was low-energy and had to be prodded to do any work. We still got through it, I got her to understand the material as well as I could for a day. Assigned homework, will move onto section 11.2 tomorrow.
