1)Michael adds a body paragraph to the essay that he has been writing on Tourism in Paris vs. Tourism in Miami.
2)Michael and I read the Einstein essay from his college textbook and track the progression of ideas. Later, we will end up writing an essay that engages with the ideas presented in this essay.
Michael practices writing body paragraphs for each of the introductions that he constructed yesterday afternoon. Afterwards, Michael and I had a critical thinking workshop where we discussed the difference between fact and opinion based thesis statements, and including the appropriate level of support in research papers.

Michael did very well today constructing his body paragraphs. He needed a bit of work determining fact and opinion based statements.
1)Michael works on Writing Introductions for Several topics/thesis statements. Using several of the introduction techniques in class, Michael practices starting introductions with quotations, questions, definitions, narratives, etc.
