Students worked diligently on projects. Students promised they will hae a minimum of 2 slides completed by Monday.
Discussed the environmental issues facing Latin American countries. Discussed the project students are to work on: students are to choose one country and focus on one environmental concern in that country. They are to research it and explain why it is a concern in that country. Then they are to come up with a solution and put it all on a power point presentation in english first. When finished, students will use the environmental dictionary we are coming up with to help them create the presentation in spanish.

Great lesson. (Devin was absent) Students were very involved and responsive. They appear to have acquired the essential understandings of this otherwise boring period in history.
This session consisted of numerous review problems wherein we used characteristics of various figures to sketch them in the xy plane and identify the coordinates of their vertices.
