Lesson Comments
Sophia has grown up quite a bit since our classes together two years ago. She has incorporated yoga into her life, physical and mental, and is very enthusiastic about bringing yoga back into her life on a regular basis.
I'm going to start her as French 1. But she already knows most of it, so we should end as French 2.
That was good to see her again. She seems to enjoy herself and asks lots of questions. When I tell her how to say something in French, she immediately ask how to say several other related sentences. This is great.
Reviewed major events: Revolutionary War, expansion westward and conquest of Native Americans, Civil War, Age of Imperialism, Civil Rights Movement. Then, discussed the cultural and financial impetuses leading to expansion. Example we read: Hawaii.
