We Skyped this session which contained a few challenges for both of us. (See below.) We worked our way half-way through a quiz on right triangles with trig functions and inverse trig functions.

Our ELMO was broadcasting upside down, so I was flipping illustrations and the graphing calculator so we could both see them (in turn). Problem is now fixed. Sophia was doing the session on her mobile phone. I'll compensate tomorrow with bigger illustrations and broader markers for the rest of the week. Her attitude is excellent and she's doing well on the quiz so far.
Sophia was absent. Today was a wild goose chase. I tried contacting Sophia via Skype without success. I tried cell phone with similar results. Caitlin tried the grandmother without success. She (Caitlin) tried another number. A male answered and said Sophia wasn't there. I tried contacting her via Skype repeatedly without success. The lack of an Elmo hasn't hindered our communications because there haven't been any.
Sophia was absent. I tried to contact her on Skype and on my mobile and both tries were unsuccessful. Caitlin did speak with her grandmother and learned that Sophia was on an airplane and thus out of reach.
We worked a variety of triangle problems, solving whole right triangles using Pythagoras as well as the shortcuts in 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 degree triangles. This was a review.
