Jackson read a couple of short stories by HG Wells. The first, "The Treasure in the Forest," about two Englishmen who steal a map only to find a boob-trapped treasure. The second, "The Star," about the apparently imminent destruction of Earth, which then becomes merely a passing event.
Jackson edited several paragraphs with multiple spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors. The paragraphs included some interesting topics, so when he was finished, Jackson looked up the eruption of Mt. Saint Helens and Crater Lake.
Jackson finished watching the movie based on the short story, "The Canterbury Ghost." We compared it to the actual story and discussed how both this movie and the Flowers for Algernon movie focused more on a love story than each of the original stories.
Today, Jackson continued to practice his typing skills. Then I showed Jackson how to find a set of data, and create an Excel spreadsheet of that data, as well as how to turn the data into a line chart. Jackson did so with the batting averages of the Yankees. Lastly, I showed Jackson how to edit the design of the chart.
The plan was to share a couple of online games with Jackson to enhance his planning ability. He tried several of the games in the .io series.

Due to the fact that the family is in transit, the Wifi did not work well in our Skype transmission. While I was able to see Jackson, he was unable to share screens with me so I couldn't really share the experience of his explorations.

Jackson reviewed the limerick style, and we talked about the history of limericks and how they appeared in Shakespeare's plays and Mother Goose rhymes. We read some well-known, silly limericks and then Jackson worked on writing his own. He created two limericks that told fun, silly stories.
Jackson is watching a movie version of the short story, "The Canterville Ghost." We chose a more recent version rather than the original, as the original 1944 movie did not stick very closely to the Oscar Wilde story. Jackson has noted, however, some differences between the story and this particular movie.
