We reviewed note locations on the piano, and worked on playing Jingle Bells. We played some with the electric keyboard as well.

We discussed the difference between single notes and chords, and major and minor chords. We talked about the Circle of Fifths, and key signatures.

We listened to some classical ragtime piano and talked about the different musical styles, and some composers of each style. We played Jingle Bells and Deck the Halls on the piano.

We worked on learning Jingle Bells on the piano.

We played some half scales with both hands, and worked on the songs Rain on the Roof, and Song of the Volga Boatmen in the Teaching Little Fingers to Play book. We also started working on some Christmas sheet music: Jingle Bells, and Deck the Halls.

We warmed up with C major half scales, and talked about arpeggios in C. We reviewed the shared C hand position and played the song The Postman from Teaching Little Fingers to Play.

We reviewed the songs Baseball Days and The Postman in Teaching Little Fingers to Play. We did some note identification exercises in the Theory Primer book.
