Today we worked on the piano. We talked about how to construct songs, scales, chords, and notes. Kaitlin was quick to be able to play the chords to my girl and said she really enjoyed it. Kaitlin is very musical, and I am excited to see her progress as a musician.

Matthew was able to mirror my hands and play the correct notes in both left and right hand. We played in the pentatonic scale and he was able to add the correct prompted notes and mimic the rhythms as well as call and respond on the piano.
Matthew had a great session using the piano as a spelling tool. We wrote out the notes, then I had him play and spell the words in the prompt by playing the note.
