We talked about the data and statistics behind the Presidential election. We looked at the web site FiveThirtyEight.com, which is a research and statistics site for politics, sports, etc. We talked about the data and statistics behind global warming and the general distribution of the food supply vs. the growing human population.

She came in with a homework assignment due Monday dealing with the following rules with counting and probability: The Fundamental Counting Rule, Permutations and Combinations Rule, and applying them.

We are reviewing the topics that are going to be on her upcoming test through a practice worksheet her teacher gave her.

We went through a certain concept and type of problem that she will be tested on using the Goodness of Fit Test through Chi Squared Distribution.

We went through some intro concepts to probability that she had notes on (Section 3.1)

We completed his discussion posts in both of these courses today. Then, we started to work more on the weekly Calculus homework, and discussed registration next semester.

We spoke about her project, and how to set up her survey and collect her data and what she will be analyzing and testing based on her data later in the semester.

We did a final overview of the topics on her test. We had to go over the Empirical Rule and Chebyshevs Rule.
