Baylie began the session by reading about ten notable Christian missionaries. After reading a short biography about each one she completed a chart about them.
Baylie was required to use ten of her past spelling words and ten of her past vocabulary words in her reflective essay. She then began reading chapter 5 of the novel The Hiding Place.
We began the session by reviewing and editing the reflection essay. Upon completion of our review, Baylie submitted the essay. We then began reading and discussing chapter 5 of The Hiding Place.
Baylie and the instructor watched a video on the history of missions. Dr. Howard Culbertson spoke about how missions are mentioned throughout the Bible - both Old and New Testaments. He gave some interesting facts regarding the number of people world-wide who have never heard the name Jesus. After the video Baylie had to respond the several questions about missions. The final question dealt with a time line of missions from 30 AD to 2006 AD. Baylie's work was excellent.
After opening with prayer, Baylie wrote her memory verses I Peter 1:14-16. She watched a 2-minute video about stewardship and answered questions about it. She viewed a 2-minute video based on Matthew 11:28 about the Lord giving rest to the weary. She viewed a 4-minute video on The "Absolute Basics of the Christian Faith". She watched with intensity in preparation for a followup discussion. She agreed with the theology that was presented. She noted the word "incarnation" and the covenant relationship that God provided throughout history.
We reviewed the example problems and worked ahead on questions 18 to 23. We are awaiting further instructions from her teacher.

Baylie is doing well with simplification of square roots and we are waiting for the next assignment to continue on. We spent the time building concepts with example problems.
Baylie briefly reviewed the test material on bookit.
She then took the test.
After the test was completed, we discussed the questions with which she struggled the most. We found the correct answers in the book and discussed why they were correct.
Baylie and I worked together on her Blookit reviews. We started with her preferred Blookit type. We began to refer directly to the text for any issues that arose with questions from the review.
I then encouraged Baylie to attempt the other type of Blookit. While the questions were the same between the two Blookits, their format is slightly different, and the new look seemed to benefit Baylie.
Today, Baylie worked on her chapter review. She answered questions from the text. We focused our time on the questions as she will be capable of doing the definitions on her own time.
The school director Ms. Judie paid us a visit and checked on Baylie’s progress.
I asked Baylie to please discuss with her teacher the possibility of the Physics equations being provided on the test. Many times in college classes they will appear there.
