Baylie read the next three chapters of the novel The Hiding Place. We discussed and analyzed the themes and characters' development as we proceeded.

For today's session Baylie began a slide presentation on world missions. She had to give a brief history of missions, select two modern era missionaries and tell about two different mission stories that she had read in class. The project was started today, but not completed. Baylie will continue to work on this project on her own and complete it during Monday, the 17th session.

Baylie worked on her quiz and asked questions as needed.

We reviewed left over questions on simplifying square roots including factoring polynomials.

Baylie read and discussed chapters 5 and 6 of the novel The Hiding Place. We answered and discussed critical thinking questions for the chapters.

Baylie read several stories about mission work in Eurasia and Asia. She and the instructor discussed each of the stories and the persecution that many Christian believers face around the world.

Baylie completed the chart on ten Christian missionaries everyone should know. She submitted the assignment to her World History teacher at St. Simon's Christian School. Baylie read the stories of two different mission projects that are currently in place in Asia and Europe. Baylie does excellent work on all of her assignments.

Baylie and I discussed chapter 5 of the novel The Hiding Place. She then answered the assigned vocabulary and assessment questions.

We received the assigned problems from Baylie's teacher so we worked to catch up on these problems related to simplifying square roots. A quiz will be given tomorrow on these modules.

We worked on problems from chapter 12 section 5 related to simplifying square roots. We completed all assigned problems and are awaiting additional guidance from the teacher in Georgia.
