Lesson Comments
Xavier has testing all week, so he did not have homework. I talked to him about the testing, and he didn't seem too stressed about it. He said he didn't go to another room for the extra time because he was embarrassed. I told him I have high school students who come to my room to take their tests. He said, "Are they cool with that?" I told him they know that it helps them, so they don't worry about what someone else thinks. Xavier suggested working on his keyboarding skills because his library teacher said he needs to build up speed.
- Nicholas practiced his spelling words.
- Nicholas read The Gum and The Lost Dog.
- I read a Stickaroo nature book to Nicholas while he did stickers.
- I read part of Turtles Hatching.
