Today Will completed the following activities on Fast ForWord: Wood Works, Toad Loader and Quack Splash. In the activity Toad Loader, Will had to complete a sentence using correct grammar to describe a picture. Will did a fantastic job determining the correct complement to the verb today. In the activity Quack Splash, Will began by reading a passage. Then he had to answer ordering questions about what he had just read. Quack Splash was the most challenging exercise for Will today. In Wood Works, Will had to listen to a word and determine if it contained the following spelling patterns “ct, t, or tch” oe “i, e, or y” .

Today Will completed the following activities on Fast ForWord: Lana's Lanes and Wood Works. In the activity Lana's Lanes, Will had to read a passage. He then had to complete graphic organizers and answer comprehension questions about the passage he had read. Will did very well on the graphic organizer questions today. In Wood Works, Will had to listen to a word and determine if it contained the following spelling patterns “c, cc, k, qu” or “ct, t, or tch”. Will did a fantastic job on both of these lessons today!

Today Will completed the following activities on Fast ForWord: Gator Jams, Toad Loader and Quack Splash. In the activity Gator Jam, Will had to choose the correct word to complete an analogy. Will did a great job determining the correct tool to person who uses the tool and location/setting of an object. In the activity Toad Loader, Will had to complete a sentence using correct grammar to describe a picture. This was the most challenging activity for Will today. In the activity Quack Splash, Will began by reading a passage. Then he had to answer ordering questions about what he had just read. Will was about to answer 90% of the paragraph completion questions. Great job Will!

He then had to complete graphic organizers and answer comprehension questions about the passage he had read. Will was able to answer 80% of the easy comprehension questions correctly. In Wood Works, Will had to listen to a word and determine if it contained the following spelling patterns “s, c, ss, sc”, “c, cc, k, qu” or “ct, t, or tch”. Will did extremely well on the “c, cc, k, qu” spelling patterns. Great work today Will!

In the activity Quack Splash, Will had to read a passage and then answer sentence and paragraph ordering questions. Will was able to answer 70% of the sentence ordering questions correctly. In the activity Toad Loader, Will had to complete a sentence using correct grammar to describe a picture. Will did extremely well determining the correct passive voice, complement to verb, articles and common misused verbs. In Wood Works, Will had to listen to a word and determine if it contained the following spelling patterns “n, nn, or kn”, “ c, cc, k, qu” and “ rr, r or wr”. Will did extremely well on this activity today! Only missing 7 questions in the whole 12 minute activity!
