I subbed for Debbie today and had a great time with Anna and Quinn. We read 3 chapters in their book, during which they were very attentive and well behaved. We then worked on the verb worksheet which Anna had breezed through, but Quinn needed some help. I had a lot of fun.
Quinn- Reading- Listen to a story tell about it in own words. Quinn does a very good job with this.
Anna- Practiced spelling, read story and tell about it in her own words. Anna had some difficulty doing this.
Review and discuss: vocabulary- star, constellations, temperature, planet. What does the sun do? What can you observe about Sun? What can you observe about the Moon? What can you observe about the stars? Test on this material.
Level two: added vocabulary-axis, equator, orbit, rotates, revolve.

Quinn formed his chords very well. We need to work on his sense of rhythm so that he changes chords at the appropriate time and on the correct beat.
